Our History

The South Kitsap Helpline is 501(c)3 non-profit organization which has served South Kitsap children, adults and senior citizens in need since 1980. Helpline is dedicated to providing food and other assistance, as well as referrals to our fellow community members who find themselves in crisis.

Our agency is comprised of the Helpline Food Bank and Oleah’s Plant & Produce Patch. Both are housed at 1012 Mitchell Ave in Port Orchard, Washington. Proceeds from Oleah’s Plant & Produce Patch help to benefit our food bank. We encourage you to learn more about this worthwhile organization which has positively impacted the lives of so many people in the South Kitsap community and beyond.

The Prom Closet, which is a partnership between South Kitsap Helpline and the CTP program at South Kitsap High School, is housed in the lower floor of South Kitsap Helpline’s offices. You may call to schedule an appointment at (360)443-3705.
