Every day, there are 40,000 people in Kitsap County who struggle to put food on their table. According to a recent study from the USDA, at some point in the year, 1 in 6 Americans won’t know where their next meal will come from. By working with individuals, small businesses, grocery stores, civic groups, schools and churches across our community, we are working to eliminate hunger.
For almost four decades, our mission here at the South Kitsap Helpline has been to serve our community members in crisis with kindness and compassion. It is our goal to help make sure that all of our neighbors who are struggling have the food they need for themselves and their families.
