While the South Kitsap Helpline is able to provide emergency food and other resources to local individuals and families in crisis on a monthly basis, it is truly the on-going support from our community that will enable us to meet the great needs we see on a more long-term basis. If our non-profit organization is one that you find meaningful and worthwhile that you would like to continue to positively impact in the future, you can help us by creating a written estate plan which designates a gift to the South Kitsap Helpline.
Leaving a charitable bequest in your estate plan is a wonderful way to continue to support charities that have been important to you in life, even upon your death. Charitable gifts may also qualify your estate for charitable deductions. The thoughtful legacy you plan to leave today can “Impact Tomorrow” and help to improve life for thousands of local, low-income children, adults and seniors in need of food and other resources.
To find out more about the various planned giving options available to you, please contact an attorney or financial advisor. There are so many ways to give and they can help you find the right option. If you do decide to include a gift to the South Kitsap Helpline in your written estate plan, please let us know. We would like to be able to recognize you and your role as an SKHL “Impact Tomorrow” Legacy Donor.
